Walkers are Welcome insurance covers public liability but is not an accident insurance and all members must be aware that they walk at their own risk. It is up to individuals to know their capabilities and limitations. The walk leader may refuse to allow anyone to participate in a walk if considered unfit for the walk or not wearing suitable clothing and footwear. That said, the objective is to enjoy walking.
